We are currently seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Finance Shared Service Center in the capacity of Tower Head – Treasury.

Overview of the role
As a member of FSSC management team– The role involves leading a treasury back-office team and ensuring the efficient execution of treasury transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance processes while working closely with the Group Treasury Center (GTC).

He/she will also be responsible to support projects initiated by GTC as well as manage treasury back office processes for all AF Group companies (200+ entities) across 10 different geographies supporting all divisions viz. Automotive, Retail, Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare, Group Services etc. with major emphasis on:

Ensuring compliance with company policies and SOPs
Periodical and accurate monthly closing and reporting with emphasis on accurate postings
Substantiation of treasury GL balances and misstatement values
Drive discussions around bank reconciliation open items
Ensure all inter-co loans are managed in TMS system, reconciled and interest accruals/expenses are properly accounted
Manage internal and external Audits
Drive continuous improvements and automation within Treasury processes
Ensure SLA compliances

What you will do

Service Delivery – Treasury Process

Spearhead end-to-end Treasury processes including bank account administration, treasury master data management, treasury operations and bank reconciliation of all Al Futtaim companies supporting different divisions like Auto, Real estate, Contracting, Retail, Corporate functions etc.
Monitor compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and internal policies. Implement and maintain controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.
Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation and reporting of treasury transactions, positions, and cash balances. Also ensure timely circulation of treasury reports for management and regulatory purposes.
Schedule discussion with business counterparts (Group Treasury, CFOs & Finance Controllers) to address open issues related to processes supported by the treasury back-office.
Facilitate internal/external audits and ensure timely response, documentation and information.
Work collaboratively with all stakeholders by developing impactful working relationship.
Ensure delivery of agreed service levels (SLAs)
Governance & Reviews

Monthly reviews of Treasury GLs and misstatement values with Treasury team leads.
Review open line item and ageing in General ledger and design plan of action for timely clearance.
Review and resolve pre and post close issues related to bank reconciliation, inter-company loans and other treasury products.
Process Improvements

Improve overall TAT of Treasury processes including significant reduction in bank open items.
Partner with Group Treasury and other stakeholders to implement various group initiatives.
Establish clear timelines and ownership.
Standardization of Treasury GL schedules and implement quality review process.
Support Process improvement team & IT in driving various quality and process automation initiatives
People Management

Assist management with career development activities for team lead and team members, including performance management and feedback.
Ensure adequate guidance and training of team members to meet service delivery targets.
Responsible for attrition management and timely backfills

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact well.

Stakeholder management: excel in developing strong client relationships, drive client dialogue both at finance manager and at CFO level, and in originating, shaping and delivering value-led finance projects

What equips you for the role

ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant or equivalent
12-15 years of similar experience, with a good knowledge of ERP systems (Preferably SAP).
Good accounting and treasury back office knowledge, preferably worked with MNCs, analytical mindset, process oriented, well organized, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to work to tight deadlines
