We are seeking a Regional Compensation & Benefits Manager to join the Human Resources team based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible for defining and driving a sustainable, competitive and modern compensation and benefits strategy for the Middle East India region that will enable business growth.  The role involves designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with legal requirements, global Fugro alignment and industry standards and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In alignment with global programs and regional strategy, design a consistent and modern Rewards philosophy and framework that resonates with our culture and organizational objectives and enables the attraction and retention of top talent (salary ranges and salary structures, benefits, executive compensation, (incentives (STI/LTI), wellbeing, and international mobility).
  • Perform market analyses, establish, and extend relationships with market data providers, peer companies and participate in local and international salary and benefits surveys.
  • Conduct on-going research into emerging trends, identify and propose modifications and enhancements to our total reward programs to address our employees’ changing needs and the competitive environment for talent in our industry.
  • Lead the annual compensation review and incentive cycles for MEI in partnership with country HR Partners and Global Reward.
  • Own the costing analysis and modelling for annual company spend in compensation and benefit enhancements, and for corporate governance purposes (equal/gender pay, living wage, pay ratios, etc.)
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team on developing offers that are competitive and equitable
  • Own and drive the regional benefits/wellbeing strategy, vendors, policies, regulations, and programs including health insurance and other welfare benefits.
  • Manage the Global Job Architecture for the region and partner with global on updates, developments and compliance of the GJA
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and regulations governing compensation and benefits programs in addition to global compliance and governance.
  • Provide ongoing support to HR Partners and managers on compensation and benefits related matters.
  • Develop and deliver communications that help our employees and candidates appreciate and value their total compensation package; create total rewards support materials and conduct education sessions.
  • Represent the MEI region in Global Total Rewards programs and initiatives, and lead deployment in region.
  • Partner with the Regional Head of HR, Global Head of Reward, and other leaders on additional key strategic and organizational development strategies across the region.

What Skills & Experience Will You Have?

  • Bachelor’s degree HR or Business Administration preferable.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience with expertise in Compensation and Benefits and global mobility.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Middle East India total rewards and labor law practices including local regulations, filings and compliance requirements.
  • Strong experience of job evaluation methodologies, and the implementation of salary structures.
  • Prior experience working across different countries and experience in managing international assignment and mobility management.
  • Experience in designing and executing Executive Compensation programs.
  • Experience of managing STI/LTI.
  • Experience working with HR systems (Workday) and tools and AI driven skills
  • Possess both strategic capabilities with a “roll up your sleeves approach, strong quantitative and analytical skills, results oriented and ability to drive change.
