QA/QC Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update and develop company QMS and maintenance to ISO9001 standard.
- Review and respond to RFP’s Quality Management requirements.
- Guide the Project’s QA/QC representatives in the development and updates of the Hill Project Quality Management System for programs and projects as needed.
- Guide the Project’s QA/QC representatives in the review and assessment of Project Quality Management System documentation in coordination with clients, developers, designers, consultants, consultants, and contractors as applicable.
- Review project quality and HSE policies for operation on projects as needed.
- Provide training to staff and external entities for the operation of the Quality Management System when required.
- Responsible for the preparation of issues and amendment of QMS documents.
- Ensure that the Quality Management System is available to all personnel throughout the Project Management Group.
- Ensure that QMS training is provided to personnel who have an involvement in the quality aspects of the Quality Management System.
- Review the project’s Contract documents for Construction Packages regarding QA/QC requirements and procedures as required.
- Working with TCT Regionals to collate review reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least twenty years of experience in a similar role.
- Qualified and experienced Lead Auditor/ISO 9001 Lead Assessor.
- Recognized formal qualification in Quality Management Systems & Audits for ISO 9001:2008 NEBOSH or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in developing, deploying, implementing, and monitoring Documented Quality Management Systems in projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Proven experience in managing several QA teams at once within his/hers own organization and external parties (Consultants and Contractors).
- Leadership experience in Quality Management at a senior managerial level.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of ISO 9001-2008 Quality Management System’s requirements in general and in particular for the Construction Industry.
- Exposure to TQM (total quality management) in the construction industry.
- Extensive experience/knowledge of Design and Construction Inspection & Testing aspects/procedures of building systems & materials.
- Excellent knowledge of the use of programs such as Excel Access and PowerPoint being able to develop project management and control tools.
- PMCM experience is required.
