JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Work with Technical Department Team and Project Managers to develop high quality Interior Design solutions detailing procedures, methodologies, standards and guidelines for ensuring effective estimation, and implementation on site.
  2.  Implementation of working templates for conducting site studies, cost estimations, evaluation and allocation of work to contractors.
  3. Implement guidelines for executing Interior Design risk management activities for during construction stages to deliver high quality Interior Design works ensuring compliance with regulatory and HSE standards.
  4. Implement standardised Interior Design, finishing and FF&E methodologies and procedures to ensure consistent and high quality DAMAC work experience to contractors and clients across allocated projects.
  5. Ensure appropriate usage and application of the project management system with respect to entry and analysis of work related data for day to day functioning to facilitate seamless communication of all relevant (technical/non-technical) information across the organisation on a real time basis for maximum effectiveness.
  6. Overview allocated onsite Interior Design, finishing and FF&E operations.
  7. Overview and monitor onsite Interior Design, plans, designs, layouts are in alignment with project specifications and project cost estimates.
  8. Monitor field activities on allocated projects to record existing field conditions, the taking and verification of measurements within project area, review contractors’ performance and claims against Interior Design plans, design and finish.
  9.  Where requested, facilitate onsite problem solving for concerns raised by designers, project managers, site contractors, construction engineers and clients during construction.
  10.  Organise Interior Design, finishes and FF&E documents and assist in the receipt and review of contractor’s as-built drawings and submittals and validate design issues.
