Overview of the role:

The Process and Compliance Manager’s role is to ain ensuring that all operational and financial controls are adequately & uniformly formalized and implemented for the respective business unit across all geographies to mitigate risk of loss, safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency.

What you will do:

  • Review of all contractual obligations and secure compliance with Group Policies across UAE, Oman, Qatar and Egypt.
  • Manage and implement business ethics-related policies, including but not limited to anti-corruption and anti-money laundering policies, sanctions screening, etc.
  • Review of all new processes and training material of new projects from a risk aversion point of view
  • Implement and oversee monitoring activities for Loss prevention.
  • Draft and review terms and conditions for promotional activities and liaise with Legal Counsel to ensure that permits are obtained from regulatory authorities prior to commencement of these activities.
  • Review of contracts based on Group Procurement Policy
  • Review of all company contracts for commerciality and risk in coordination with Group Legal, where required.
  • Ensure that contracts meet franchise requirements.
  • Review of 3rd party suppliers for IWAY compliance along with IWAY compliance team.
  • Coordinate with Service Office and store teams for Non-Merchandise Procurements.
  • Secure necessary approvals for all contracts and non-merchandise policy compliance

What equips you for the role:

  • Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Post Graduate Bachelor of Laws, Compliance certificate preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in contract reviews, process compliance/Audit, preferably in retail
  • Legal knowledge, specifically contractual
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
