National Sales Manager

Job Description

  • Implement and oversee the Sales & Marketing strategy of the Sales Channel / Product range in the market.
  • Ensure that the Field Sales Managers are properly equipped, trained, and motivated to achieve their targets by providing best service practices to the customers.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with the decision-makers in the market to achieve the set targets.
  • Ensure that the Field Sales Managers are adhering to the company policy & guidelines.
  • Ensure Brand objectives are met as per the guidelines of the Division Manager.
  • Direct the Field Sales Managers in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the respective territory / channel.
  • Conduct strategic meetings with customers, negotiate and sign Business Development Agreements (BDA) & ensure implementation.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to evaluate performance & take corrective steps to drive sales.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals (Quarterly & Annual) of the Field Sales Managers for the Channel.
  • Actively participate & get involved in new business development opportunities.
  • Ensure that the volume and value sales targets allocated for the Channel are achieved.
  • Focus on improved distribution, visibility, share of shelf in the category, market share growth for each SKU / brand.
  • Monthly Analysis Report – Analysis of report on account, Brand and SKUs wise with results.
  • Quarterly Business Review – need to do business review to Division Manager.
  • Perfect Store – Gum & Chocolate P Scores should be maintained with the assigned target.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university
  • Minimum 10-15 years of total work experience of which a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience and a minimum of 5-7 years of managerial work experience.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English is a must, along with advanced IT literacy
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (English Language – oral and written)
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead a team and plan future capacity requirements.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with demonstrated ability to complete the assigned work within the stipulated time.
  • Possess a valid UAE driving license and own car.
