Manager – Supply Chain Product
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and monitor short- and long-term demand plan for enterprise and consumer channel as per forecast and consumption trend.
- Monitor CAPEX budget spend and utilization. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure available budget for product ordering.
- Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
- Responsible for minimizing the risk of obsolescence stock, both in sales channels and at the warehouse. This will be through managing stock levels in sales channels and liaison with various Commercial functions, to ensure risk products are pushed at channel level.
- Serve as the first point of contact for partner questions, including how to place order, scheduling delivery, reporting etc and also serve as the point person to articulate business needs for enhance distribution process.
- Identify and provide coaching and developmental training as needed Work on developing staff skills by motivating, training, enhancing employees’ involvement and building team spirit.
- Prepare and issue Periodic management report and organize meeting with channels on stock status for products and highlight risks and escalations as required
- Forecast execution and performances review on weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis. Develop and implement a replenishment process to optimize.
- Manage the product lifecycle and coordinate with vendors/other departments in implementing new requirement and specifications to ensure delivery of quality products. Plan product fulfillment through vendors as required by segments/Corporate Communication
- Responsible for the performance management of 3rd party logistics providers to ensure satisfactory performance.
- Perform regular reviews to ensure SLAs/OLAs are met. Ensure accuracy of product quality and activation process by regular quality control checks.
Minimum experience:
- A minimum of 7-12 years Supply Chain and/or Operations, and a minimum of (2) two years people management are required. Marketing experience is helpful.
- Previous demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management experience required; marketing and lifecycle management recommended.
- Good working knowledge of key telecom elements on both the technical side and on the Commercial Side
Minimum education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering required; Masters or MBA preferred.
Knowledge and skills:
- Must have strong analytical, project management, and consulting skills, with the ability to influence, work effectively, and implement solutions in a cross-functional, team environment.
- Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word); ERP/MRP systems experience is a plus.
