Lead and/or Principal Technical Consultant Role – Upstream/Midstream

KBR Consulting is seeking Lead and/or Principal Technical Consultants to work within our MENA organisation. Successful candidates will be key members of the team providing consulting services and contributing to business development activities across the full range of the chemical and petrochemical industry clients.

Reporting to the MENA management, the Lead and/or Principal Consultant will demonstrate competence in areas including Upstream Oil and Gas, Midstream infrastructure (terminals and pipelines), LNG, Feasibility Study development including Technical and Economic Evaluation, Project Concept Development, Investment Strategy Development as well as Technical Due Diligence and Lender’s Technical Consultant assignments.

As a more experienced individual on our staff, the Lead and/or Principal Consultant performs their own work in terms of collecting information, developing deliverables, analysing for trends and key findings, and preparing Word or PowerPoint reports.

Recognising their project management responsibilities, Lead and/or Principal Consultant should have excellent organisational skills and be good at communicating and guiding others. He or she typically manages and/or works on a few projects at one time, thereby necessitating excellent ability to multi-task, work without supervision, exercise good judgment and communicate with colleagues of a wider KBR organisation.

Additionally, a Lead and/or Principal Consultant supports the group’s overall sales effort through proposal/tender preparation, contract negotiation, and other client interfacing activities.
