Job Description

1. Plan, Organize and coordinate sales calls to travel agents corporate houses and Government institutions
2. Set sales targets for sales staff and ensure they are met
3. Identify market segments and market opportunities and recommend suitable marketing plan.
4. Develop suitable sales strategies according to market condition.
5. Analysis Market situation and competitors practice.
6. Ensure revenue is increases and yields is improved
7. Responsible for pricing update in coordination with Pricing at HDQ, recommend fare revision according to OAL practice.
8. Recommend cost control in respect to POS
9. Forecast sales and give sales presentations to senior management, government bodies and corporate houses
10. Manage all internal staff issues through Country Manager/Senior Manager-Regional Sales and set standards for the entire section to reflect Oman Air Image
11. Motivate staff and recommend reward for the staff according to productivity
12. Create a cordial working atmosphere to increase the productivity of the staff
13. Identify potential front line agents and ascertain their productivity for possible rewards
14. Handle Travel agency incentive programme and attend to all travel agents queries
15. Monitor BSP arrangement in the area and funds are received from BSP/Agents as per the agreed schedule
16. Update Management with all relevant statistics and liaise with customer relations officer through country manager / Senior Manager-Regional Sales for all passenger complaints
17. Prepare career development program for staff and ensure staff adherence to all management decisions.
18. Support Regional Cargo Managers for implementation of Cargo sales set strategies to maximize sales, revenue and yield.
19. Provide Regional Cargo managers/HQ Cargo management with local market intelligence and trends.
20. Assist in facilitating requirements of local authorities and corporate standers.
21. Monitoring Cargo GSSA and Passenger GSA performance to ensure service delivery standers are met at all times.
22. Any other tasks assigned by management
