Data Science Associate – UAE National

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Data Analyst/Associate to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

Role Summary:

This role is to collect and interpret Finance data and other relevant information belong to Gulf Levant countries. Charts, graphs, or workflows are created from this information to make leadership teams understand it better. Contribute to the company’s performance and efficiency by timely accurate analysis. Deal with Operational challenges and queries from the affiliate functions. Support the Senior Finance business Manager on the projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include:

  • Collecting and analyzing Finance data
  • Interpreting and extracting meaningful insights from the collected data
  • Creating reports and dashboards for senior management and department heads
  • Analyzing data patterns and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assisting management in determining business goals and needs.
  • Implementing new data collection and analysis techniques
  • Developing monthly Finance reporting dashboards for different departments
  • Collaborating with the Senior Finance Business Manager on projects and initiatives
  • Supporting affiliate functions with operational challenges and queries

Qualifications:

  • a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Analysis/Data Science or related discipline in Finance but with a strong interest for data analysis.
  • Ideally a first experience as a data analyst in a Finance environment. You have strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Power BI, Qlik Sense and programming languages (ex: Python).A first experience/ knowledge a real interest for the Pharma would be an asset.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Candidate is expected to be rigorous, analytical, and curious. Your knowledge of finance and IT/Data Science combined with your analytical mind will enable you to succeed in this mission.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Power Apps with preferred experience in SQL, VBA, and Dashboards
