Camp Co-ordinator

Job Summary:

The Camp Boss is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a camp facility, ensuring efficient management of accommodations, and maintenance. The role requires organizational skills, Microsoft skills and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and hospitality.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Supervise and manage all camp operations, including accommodation, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage labor camp accommodation which involves cleaning, maintenance, safety & security, daily checking, and provide accurate daily & monthly reports.
  • Manage and monitor inventory, supplies, and procurement of camp-related items.
  • Maintain accurate records of residents, staff, and resources.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to accommodation, or maintenance.
  • Conduct routine inspections.
  • Ensure discipline in the camp and to follow company/camp policies.
  • Responsible for the clearance of garbage disposals.
  • Handle immediate first aid and inform HSE/doctor in case of emergency.
  • Report accident/incident of staffs for necessary immediate action.
  • Supervision for Housekeeping (cleaning of toilets, corridors, surrounding etc.)
  • Coordinate with contractors for Pest Control, tank cleaning, firefighting and fire alarm systema and routine maintenance.
  • Maintaining all service reports from contractors in the camp
  • Maintains liaison with HR Department.
  • Performs related work as required.

Job specification:

  • A Graduate in any discipline with 5+ years in this role.
  • Considerable knowledge of mechanical, carpentry, building construction, and electrical skills
  • Ability to supervise the work.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people and general public.
  • Sound knowledge in computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
  • Ability to deal with employees from multi-cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain financial records.
  • Ability to work independently.
