We are currently seeking an ambitious UAE National to join our Wholesale COO team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. The Business Support Manager is responsible for supporting the establishment a consistent and effective approach to administration and business management for the Wholesale COO team.  He/she will be required to provide support directly to the Wholesale COO senior executives – managing diaries, booking rooms, maintaining registers within the department, collating the metrics reporting and other such related tasks.  The scope of responsibilities of this role includes all aspects of business management – Financial, Governance & MI, People, Risk and Business Administration as required.

This role will require the individual to assume a proactive, collaborative role across the Wholesale COO team to ensure the creation and ongoing management of an operationally “excellent” organisation.

In this role, you will:

• Manage diaries, schedule meetings, book rooms, maintain registers and handle other related administrative tasks such as collating metrics and tracking key information
• Organize resources, meetings, services, and supplies, ensuring seamless execution of planned activities and events
• Perform data entry and assist with basic data analysis, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of information
• Serve as the gatekeeper and main point of contact for a designated area, handling queries, managing access and ensuring smooth communication
• Assist in the execution of business initiatives and planning activities which may include financial, technology, governance & MI, Risk and Business Administration as required
• Promote a culture of achievement and ensure pace by identifying and removing barriers for success
• Promote a positive work culture based on respect for people, integrity of actions, creativity and collaboration leading to increased productivity
• Promote the value of challenging the status quo, seeking to improve ways of working and having a forward-thinking mind-set, in line with the Group’s values and strategy
• Acts as a role model to create and maintain a collaborative team environment which supports and encourages the professionalism and development of our teams

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Relevant experience working in an administrative role supporting a manager or team
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with experience of working under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent keyboard, shorthand and audio skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• The ability to quickly understand the Wholesale COO team’s requirements and concerns and deliver a quality result to them
• Delivery-focused with attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality
• Proven ability of using their initiative – Result and Quality Driven
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
