Majid Al Futtaim has embarked in a very ambitious analytics transformation, leveraging state of the art data and technology to instil a data driven culture throughout its businesses. More than technology, the most important component of a transformation lies in its change management processes. Based in Dubai in the Advanced Analytics Centre of Excellence, and reporting into the Senior Manager, Analytics Delivery within the central holding company, the Analytics Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring that we identify and execute against a healthy group-wide pipeline of analytics use cases. They will also be responsible for the end to end delivery of these use cases.To increase the impact of our analytics program, the Analytics Delivery Manager will help define and manage the change management processes, working closely with senior executives across our group. This role is critical to deliver the ambitious objectives of the A2 (advanced Analytics) team and will be a change agent that will help drive the analytics transformation by instilling a data-driven culture across the Group.

  • Collaborate with the federated analytics units across operating companies to ensure we’re effectively identifying and executing against a healthy pipeline of analytics use case
  • Be the group-wide thought leader on all aspects of identifying and delivering on use cases (e.g., how to ideate, how to run a use case process, how to establish a use case squad, how to develop an effective roadmap, etc.)
  • Understand the use case roadmaps and ongoing operations within each AA-COE
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute on improvement opportunities across these plans and operations
  • Collaborate with Analytics Translators across AA-COEs to streamline roadmaps, gather periodic visibility into progress made, communicate progress and resolve relevant challenges/bottlenecks
  • Harmonize, standardize, and define analytics use case best practices across the Group – Establish and codify foundational best-practices to streamline all use-case related processes, establish frameworks and governances across the use case lifecycle
  • Identify and elevate excellent practices within AA-COEs and establish it as the standard
  • Be the key point of contact for all Holding use case activities (includes head office functions and the group-wide loyalty program) – Run use case ideation sessions to best understand the analytical needs of business stakeholders
  • Empower analytics translators to ideate and enable them to be a part of the use case squad working team
  • Establish use case squads and ensure continuous cadence and progress against their agendas

Experience:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, analytics and/or management consultancy
  • Experience working in an analytics heavy environment or startup is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in in a quantitative field (mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, or engineering)
  • Master’s Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, business management, economics or finance is preferred
