Account Executive

The primary functions of this position are to provide quality service to clients by ensuring quote-bind-issuance process is within agreed TAT. Support the GI Team Leader by working on the direct portfolio and cross sell to existing HNW clients.

The Account Executive (AE) will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company and designated HNW accounts.

The AE will work with the TL & team members on efficiency by process enhancements, data reporting, HNW claims and support the required internal changes to ensure growth & profitability.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Receive new business & renewals requests from direct clients/consultants – analyse, suggest and obtain adequate quotes through all channels.
  2. Preparation of quotes/proposals, and binding of coverage
  3. Ensure quote to issuance process is within agreed SLA, maintain tracker for missed SLA’s.
  4. Endorsement activity – end to end
  5. Renewal management – end to end
  6. Utilize workflows and processes to initiate and maintain contact with clients as well as to update coverages, review exposures, and discuss opportunities for account management.
  7. Error reporting
  8. Adequate record keeping in NTAS, case management – as per business process requirements.
  9. Reporting – quotes, policies issued, lost business and productivity.
  10. Adherence to UW, compliance & department guidelines in line with the company’s SOP.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in insurance – UAE commercial/personal/medical insurance underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis for minimum 3 years.
  2. In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this knowledge clearly to clients and underwriters.
  3. Proactive and passionate about service to clients
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills In English, Arabic is an advantage.
  5. Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload & support the team.
  6. Strong negotiating skills
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  8. Ability to go the extra mile and support business requirements
