Regional Channels Transformation IT Business Analyst

You will be responsible for engaging with business counterparts to initiate requirements gathering and facilitation for Technical initiatives in the MENAT region. Core focus being on change the bank initiatives across our customer and staff channels. The role provides a single point of contact for teams across MENAT region.

Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Facilitating the review and approval of requirements from all stakeholders
•    Facilitating and participation in design discussion and workshops
•    Writing user stories, conducting grooming sessions and story walkthroughs
•    Providing first sign-off on the development post Dev testing
•    Giving demo to the PO and other stakeholders for final sign-off
•    Support UAT, SIT and Production
•    Collaborating with partner system BAs and other stakeholders- Stakeholder Management
•    Preparation of use case diagrams, UMLs, Sequence diagrams, Visio flows
•    Be the interface between the business, the customers, and their product related needs on one side, and the Team on the other side.
•    Provide a buffer for the Team from requests for feature and bug-fixes that come from many sources, and is the single point of contact for all questions about product requirements for the team
•    (Act as proxy Product Owner)
•    Work closely with the team to define the user-facing and technical requirements, to document the requirements as needed, and to determine the order of their implementation.
•    Impacts analysis of change requests on the existing business flows
•    Help the POs decide the fitment of those change requests into existing business flows without additional development effort.

Deliverables:
•    To understand business value around feature/functions,
•    Translate business requirement into feature requirement,
•    Collaborate with UX and design team in prototyping for further fine tuning of requirements.
•    Create requirement in User stories with acceptance scenarios, preferably in BRD support format (in feature file format)
•    Collaborate with and support dev team on daily basis.
•    Participate in Sprint planning, sprint review, backlog refinement meetings.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree is essential.
•    Experience in Software development lifecycles.
•    Stakeholder Management both peers and seniors.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    2+ years’ experience in a technical environment preferably working with the Digital channels domain.
•    Proven ability to deliver under pressure & tight deadlines; readiness to work extended hours.
•    Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders, including external vendors.
•    Have experience and knowledge of working with Agile processes and lifecycle, tracking and process management tools, e.g., JIRA, Confluence etc.
•    Ability to work in an unstructured and changing environment, competent at managing an ever-changing backlog and able to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise.
•    Customer focused, results-based approach, able to deliver to deadlines.
•    Good knowledge of IT policies and practices.
