Van Sales Supervisor
Job Description
Supervises and implements and execute the sales & marketing strategy of the department / Product range in the market to achieve the division‘s objectives in terms of annual profits, accommodating principle supplier’s sales and marketing objectives.
Assists the Sales Manger to ensure that the sales force is properly equipped, trained and motivated, by providing best service practices to the customers to achieve their targets.
Visits key/new customers and conduct market surveys to enhance sales relations and to ensure business development.
Complies with the department /division policies and procedures, ensuring effective execution of daily operations.
Ensures that the volume and value allocated sale team/area target for the general trade channel is achieved.
Continuously, study and evaluate the actual van sales team performance compared to the pre-set targets and take appropriate corrective measures, periodically.
Reviews and analyzes the daily sales reports submitted by the Sales representatives and forward the same to the sales manager for finial acknowledgment and further actions.
Ensures timely collection of due payments, Post dated cheques and any other instrument of credit, as approved by the Company, to secure the department cash flow.
Insects and inventories vans stocks regularly to maintain a healthy stocks balance.
Routes regularly with the van sales representatives to ensure proper product distribution and coverage and customer satisfaction, and to address potential routing options.
Ensures a proper distribution, visibility, share of shelf product category to improve the, market share and profitability growth for each SKU / Brand.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university
A professional qualification in Sales or Marketing
Minimum 3 – 5 years of Total work experience of which a minimum of 2 – 3 years of supervisory work experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Bilingual; Arabic and English, high proficiency in speaking and writing
Good IT literacy.
Working for fast-paced companies is an absolute must.
Van Sales supervisory experience
Knowledge of HHT system
Knowledge of diverse and multicultural environment.
Good product-related knowledge.
Possess a valid UAE driving license
Travel within the UAE
Owns a car
