Role Overview
•    This role is a key position for Logistics & Freight vertical, responsible for delivering business impact through programs like: Business performance Improvement, Process Improvement, and New solves / design across global Aramex network.
•    Plays an important role to foster a culture of sustainable change through creation and embedding of Lean Six Sigma methodology there by delivering strategic objective of Growth, Efficiency & Cost
•    The Role must be able to utilize data analytics approach & process door approach to identify opportunities & improve business whilst influencing behavior change of stakeholders across all levels

Purpose
•    Deliver business impact through Business performance & PEX programs in Logistics & Freight verticals across Aramex.
•    Works with teams (Like – Operations, Regional PEX, Finance, Commercial, Digital & HR) to create and deliver value across all Supply Chain assets.
•    Develop problem-solving culture where problems are made visible and fixed at point of occurrence.
•    Engages in relentless pursuit of continuous improvement/transformation to create best-in-class supply chain assets.
•    Focuses on immediate actions, waste reduction & create a learning organization.

Key Deliverables
•    Business Performance Programs – Improve profitability & build cost models to acquire new businesses.
•    PEX. Programs – Efficiency improvement & benchmark for all resources (Like – Facility, Human capital & equipment)
•    New solves / Design – Drive projects to acquire new businesses / Retain existing businesses, analyze / implement new trends & technologies.
•    Driving asset-specific strategic improvement initiatives to deliver value to business.
•    Support operations facilities for internal and external certifications with involvement of other central functions as per strategy.

People
•    Effectively collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business impact & service excellence.
•    Encourages people to proactively identify problems/opportunities and implement solves.
•    Uses continuous coaching and dialogue to empower people to solve their own problems.
•    Builds future leaders and champions through learning organization.

Process
•    Recognizes and articulates implications of change or actions throughout the entire value stream (end to end)
•    Frequent Gemba / work site visits to understand, analyze and solve problems at point of occurrence.
•    Deep dive on new trends & technology, design new solves/infrastructure, analyze/prepare business case on applicability to aramex & work with all stake holders to implement them.
•    Practices and teaches fundamental of lean problem solving to identify problems, define them, fix them and ensure re-occurrence prevention.
•    Supports and leverages process for sharing best practices.
•    Provide ongoing support to multiple project teams. Communicates information/news to management, staff, and employees.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a must, Master’s degree preferred.
•    6-12 years of relevant experience with a successful track record of driving Process Improvement.
•    Lean Six-Sigma, transformation or re-engineering background is a must.
•    Experience is a must in logistics and E2e supply chain solutions design.
•    Exposure to ISO certification, QMS & other Quality assurance programs.
•    Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified with multiple business impact projects is a must. Six sigma black belt certified is preferred.

Mandatory Skills:
•    Demonstrated skills in driving efficiency and cost optimization projects.
•    Experience of hands-on implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions
•    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
•    Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green belt certified (ASQ or ISSAC)
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Must be open to travel 30% of the time as per project/program needs.
•    Experience in preparing and presenting recommendations to an audience of senior executives.
