JOB TITLE: Assistant I – Quality

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining RFI log and distributing daily RFI’s to relevant discipline inspectors.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly status reports based on documents reviewed by the Quality Engineers/Inspectors for the respective project.
  • Maintain project documents, in line with the ISO 9001/2000 Quality standards, which are directly audited by the external certification agency.
  • Maintain project documents related to the internal audit process including audit records, Quality improvement log, customer complaints and customer feedback.
  • Maintain work procedures, issue transmittals as and when work procedures are changed.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as receiving incoming mails and couriers thereby ensuring timely flow of information. File and retrieve documents, records, and reports.
  • Calendar management for QA/QC Manager to record and manage meetings. 
  • Drafting formal letters to external contacts.
  • Coordinate in-house meetings (Conference room bookings AND collation / distribution of meeting agenda).
  • Prepare minutes of meeting.
  • Manage Leave / holiday plan for QA/QC engineers and Inspectors.
  • Control and issue of QA/QC stamps, Stationery for inspection personnel.
  • Assist in organizing Quality induction courses.
  • Perform other related duties as advised by the supervisor.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 to 3 years for relevant experience.
  • Previous experience with major EPC contractor or their sub-contractors in Oil & Gas projects is an advantage.
