Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Implement marketing strategies to develop Home Centre as a brand and to ensure that positioning of the brand is consistent throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Calendar
· Plan the events calendar for the region in consultation with the Territory Concept managers
· Execute the signed off marketing calendar across all regions
Budgeting and Planning
· Prepare and get management sign off on the annual marketing budget for the territory in coordination with the Concept Marketing team
· Manage the territory’s marketing budget. Provide feedback to the Concept Marketing team on approving key marketing expenses
· Review Footfalls in the stores on regular basis
Campaign & Media Planning
· Coordinate with Concept Marketing team for brand campaigns and activations
· Plan and implement the campaign consistently across all regions
· Review the effectiveness of advertisements, promotions and take corrective actions
Loyalty Program Activities
· Map loyalty program for the region and present insights to Concept and Local Marketing teams
· Annalise growth, frequency and monetary contribution from Loyalty program
PR and Customer Events
· Coordinate with agencies in consultation with Concept and Corporate Marketing team for order placements and printing needs, shopping bags, etc.
· Manage cross promotions with other brands and customer engagement events
· Coordinate for PR and media coverage for the brand
Marketing Co-ordination:
· Coordinate with the Stores for the following:
o POS Requirements for the launch of Marketing Promotions
o Consolidation and follow up of their requirements with regards to marketing and retail consumables
o Plano gram for the launch of the activities in stores and follow up on the same to ensure timely launch
o Liaise with territory marketing teams to ensure consistency in creatives, advertising, promotions, events and meet other day-to-day requirements
o Coordinate with the marketing department of various malls for exploring different avenues of marketing and communication
o Ensure that the images on the vans and delivery trucks are changed at a regular interval of times
o Coordinate with PRO for various permissions/approvals required for sale, promotions, flyer distribution etc. (if applicable. Coordinate with local suppliers/agency for quotations, negotiations, deliveries and payments
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Post Graduate in Business Administration
4-7 years of Marketing experience preferably from Home Retail/ FMCG industry
Knowledge of Retail Industry and Brands
Knowledge of Marketing and communication activities
Media planning & Commercial acumen
Leadership skills & Strategic thinking
Planning and organising skills
Commitment to excellence & Networking skills
